  1. Race Three: Wehrlein ends Gunther winning streak

    Pascal Wehrlein halted Max Gunther's domination of the Race From Home series.

    Pascal Wehrlein ended Max Gunther鈥檚 winning run in the Race From Home series as he and Stoffel Vandoorne went 1-2 from pole to finish after a chaos-strewn first lap on the virtual street circuit of Monaco.

    Gunther鈥檚 sixth-place finish nonetheless increased his lead at the top of the series standings from 20 to 21 points after Robin Frijns finished in fifth, allowing Wehrlein to take second after three of the eight scheduled races.

    鈥淭he start was important 鈥 I don鈥檛 know what happened behind me but it looked a small crash,鈥 said Wehrlein. 鈥淚 had a small gap and just kept a steady pace after that.鈥

    The third corner of the race saw several cars engaged in a shunt, the worst of which was between Mitch Evans and Edoardo Mortara, who had qualified in third and still managed to recover to make 10th place.

  3. All you need to know about the Formula E Race at Home challenge

    What is it?

    The Race at Home challenge is an eight-week competition, ending in a Grand Final on 7 June, involving the normal Formula E teams and drivers.

    How does it work?

    The 24 drivers will race against one another using software that includes the latest generation Formula E car, up-to-date liveries of all the teams and iconic street tracks such as Hong Kong and Monaco.

    Races will start with a competitive one-lap qualifying system to determine the order of the grid and once the race begins, the last-placed driver at the end of each lap will be eliminated, after the first two laps.

    Elimination will continue until 12 drivers remain, where a two-lap sprint to the finish line will decide the point-scoring positions. Drivers will carry over their points to the following weekend.

    The scoring system is also the same as in real life with drivers earning extra points for pole position and the fastest lap. There will also be double points on offer in the final race.

  5. COVID-19: FIA urges co-operation over rescheduling

    Motor racing's world governing body, the FIA, has urged its members to co-operate in re-scheduling events that have been postponed or removed from the calendar by the COVID-19 pandemic, once the threat of the virus subsides.

    Formula 1, the World Rally Championship and Formula E are three of the disciplines that have had the first half of the year wiped out by the virus and are looking to cram as much action as possible into the remaining weeks of 2020.

    The concern is that this could lead to clashes in racing and television schedules that could impact audience numbers and television coverage.

    "What would be counter-productive would be to get involved in turf wars, disputes about who has got which slot,鈥 said FIA deputy president Graham Stoker said in the latest edition of Auto, the body's in-house journal. 鈥淭hat approach will not work - the main priority is to get motorsport going again.鈥

    The result could be 鈥榮uper weekends鈥 with multiple events scheduled to dovetail rather than dominate the revised racing calendar.

    鈥淢otorsport has got to pull together, said Stoker. 鈥淲e鈥檝e got to have flexibility in terms of events and venues in order to get things going again in a spectacular way that will attract public interest.鈥
