Hull FC have signed prop Liam Watts from local rivals Hull KR on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Watts, 21, asked for permission to be released early from his contract with the Robins last week.

Coach Peter Gentle told "He fits our criteria perfectly. He's big, he's fast, he's got skill and he's aggressive.

"We're looking to get his career back on track and it's up to him to fit in and produce his best."
