Leigh Leopards have added three more players to their squad in preparation for the 2024 Super League season.
Ben McNamara, 21, has joined on a two-year deal from Hull FC, while Kavan Rothwell, 20, has moved from Wigan Warriors on a one-year deal, the same length as Jack Darbyshire, 19, has signed on for from Warrington Wolves.
It now takes the number of new signings up to seven for the Leopards.
Leigh won the Challenge Cup and had a best-ever Super League finish of fifth.
McNamara, who is the son of Catalans Dragons head coach Steve, can play as a half-back or hooker and made 33 appearances for Hull FC.
He will link up again with Leigh head coach Adrian Lam, with whom he worked as a junior at NRL club Sydney Roosters where his dad was assistant coach.
"The chance to play under Adrian was a massive attraction for me," McNamara told
"I believe in his values as coach and his desire to develop players is important for me at this point in my career."
Prop Rothwell is yet to play in Super League, but he had loan spells in 2023 with Midland Hurricanes in League One and then Barrow Raiders in the Championship.
Darbyshire has never made a senior appearance, but he spent time with the Warrington first-team squad towards the end of the season.
