Brad Dwyer: Warrington Wolves re-sign hooker from Hull FC on two-year deal
Warrington Wolves have re-signed hooker Brad Dwyer from Hull FC on a two-year deal from the 2024 season.
The 30-year-old was released by Wigan's scholarship programme and joined the Wire, going on to score 16 tries in 88 games following his March 2012 debut.
Dwyer had five seasons with Leeds and won the 2020 Challenge Cup, and spent 2023 at Hull with ex-Wire boss Tony Smith, scoring two tries in 26 matches.
"It's a special place for me," Dwyer said of his return to Warrington.
"Warrington gave me my first crack at being a professional rugby player and I spent six good years here. To be coming back a bit older and a bit wiser, and hopefully a better player, is really exciting for me.
"I'm keen to show how much I've developed as a player and a person. I'm looking to impress in pre-season and put my best foot forward."
Director of rugby Gary Chambers added: "We're delighted to welcome Brad back home.
"He's going to offer multiple different attack options to the way we play and a wealth of experience around the camp."
