St Helens have signed winger Kyle Feldt from NRL side North Queensland Cowboys on a two-year deal which will begin from 2025.

The 32-year-old has so far made 213 appearances over 12 seasons for the Cowboys and scored 146 tries.

In touching down against Gold Coast Titans earlier this season, Feldt broke the Cowboys' long-standing try-scoring record and has added a further 15 tries to his tally since then.

"This feels like the right choice and the right decision, not only for me but for my family," Feldt said.

"I know I’m coming to a great club with a very rich history of great players with great a work ethic as well. I’m eager to get over and meet the lads at the end of the year."

Feldt has been a prolific scorer throughout his career, reaching double figures in the past nine seasons, with a career-best figure of 19 tries in 2020.

His most notable achievement with the club came during the 2015 NRL Grand Final when he scored after the full-time hooter to level the game against the Brisbane Broncos, with the Cowboys going on to win in golden point extra time.

"This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but I feel the time is right," before the announcement he would join Saints.

"I have been very fortunate to live out my childhood dream to play NRL for my hometown team for 11 years.

"The club has given me the opportunity to stay home where many other professional athletes have had to move away from their family."
