Cornwall suffered their fourth successive League One loss as they went down 30-8 at home to Workington Town.
Jack Stephenson's 14th-minute try for the visitors was cancelled out two minutes later by Cameron Brown, but the Cumbrians hit back as JJ Key and Zarrin Galea went over to lead 18-4 at the break.
Jake Bradley made it 24-4 before Callum Abbott scored his first Cornwall try with 25 minutes left.
But Grant Reid sealed the win with 13 minutes to go to see Workington go home from the longest away trip in rugby league with the points.
Town move up to sixth place in the table while Cornwall remain second-from-bottom with two wins from 14 games.
