Wessel Jooste: Deal interests Leicester's Richard Cockerill

Director of rugby Richard Cockerill has said Leicester Tigers are considering a deal to sign South African back-row forward Wessel Jooste.
Jooste, 31, has been with French Top 14 side Bourgoin for eight seasons and would interest the Tigers if he can complete the necessary paperwork.
"He's been on trial with us," Cockerill told 大象传媒 Radio Leicester.
"But he's one who is sorting out whether he can get into the country from a visa and work permit point."
Tigers, who recorded a win against Jersey last weekend as part of their Premiership preparations, have already made nine additions to the squad during the summer.
And with injuries to Tom Croft [neck] and Craig Newby [knee] already prompting a return to Leicester for Gloucester's back-row Brett Deacon, Jooste's versatility would be a useful addition.
"He's very big, athletic and strong," Cockerill added.
"He's played all across the back row for Bourgoin, and lock.
"He's certainly someone who if all of the pieces of the jigsaw fit into place could be a possibility."
