Melrose Sevens cancelled due to coronavirus impact

This is the first time the rugby tournament has been cancelled since the Second World War
Organisers have cancelled this year's Melrose Sevens tournament, having initially hoped to play later in the year.
The annual event was due to take place from 9-12 April, but was postponed in March due to coronavirus.
Tournament director Phil Morris said cancelling is now the "responsible decision".
It is the first year the sevens has been cancelled since the Second World War.
Those who bought a ticket for this year's event can either get a refund, use it for next year's edition starting 8 April, or allow the club to keep the money to combat the financial impact of the global pandemic.
"We hope there will be a lot of people who will take up the donation and roll-over options," Morris said.
"These two options will certainly help secure the future of this historic club. However, we fully recognise that some people may be struggling financially at this time, so it is only right that we offer the option of a full refund too."
