Cardiff sign Matthew Aubrey and bring Max Clark in on loan from Dragons

Cardiff have signed former Ospreys scrum-half Matthew Aubrey and brought in Dragons centre Max Clark on loan.
Aubrey has been playing for Swansea RFC. He was reprimanded by Ospreys in 2022 after a video was posted online of him and fellow former Osprey Callum Carson mocking a homeless man.
Bridgend-born centre Clark signed for Dragons from Bath in March 2022.
Aubrey impressed on trial while playing in two pre-season derbies, while Clark has yet to make his Cardiff debut.
Cardiff beat Scarlets 21-12 at home before losing 28-26 at the Swansea.com stadium to the Ospreys in their warm-up games, and they open their season at home to Benetton on 21 October in the United Rugby Championship (URC).
"We're delighted to add further strength to our playing group with two (players), who boast quality, a good amount of experience and have the potential to improve," Cardiff head coach Matt Sherratt said.
"I coached Matthew at the Ospreys and he has very good basic skills and a great temperament for a scrum-half. He adds further depth and competition to our scrum-half ranks.
"In terms of Max, there is absolutely no doubt about his quality, having amassed almost 100 appearances at Bath. He played a good amount at the Dragons last season but is in a very competitive position and was keen to have more opportunity to play.
"He will get that for us and will bring experience and know-how to what is still quite a young back line."
