Italy prop Turani extends contract with Harlequins

Italy prop Silvia Turani has signed a new contract with Harlequins.

The 29-year-old moved to Quins from rivals Exeter Chiefs last summer.

Turani made her debut for the Italy national team in 2017 and also represented the Barbarians in 2019.

Harlequins finished seventh in the Premiership Women's Rugby table last season and face Turani's former team Exeter in the first round of the new season next month.

The club have not stated the length of Turani's new deal.
