Saracens have signed former Northampton Saints scrum-half Callum Braley on a short-term contract.

The 30-year-old joins on a three-month deal to cover for Gareth Simpson, who is out injured for the first part of the 2024-25 campaign.

Braley has 15 international caps for Italy and represented them at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

"Callum is a very experienced player who we are confident will be a strong addition to our squad," director of rugby Mark McCall

"We are already impressed with how he has settled in and look forward to seeing him take to the pitch."
