Exeter forward Van der Velden banned for four weeks
Exeter's Netherlands forward Linde van der Velden has been banned for four weeks for a dangerous tackle.
The 29-year-old was cited after her club's 29-12 win over Saracens in their top-of-the-table Premiership Women's Rugby meeting on Saturday.
Van der Velden admitted a high tackle an hour into the match at Sandy Park.
The incident was not seen by the referee during the game but Van der Velden admitted the charge after she was cited on video evidence.
It means she will miss Exeter's games with Loughborough Lightning and Sale Sharks in the next two weeks, as well as Netherlands' back-to-back international games with Brazil at the end of this month and the start of December.
