Kyle Edmund: Briton beats Jan-Lennard Struff to reach Erste Bank Open semis
British number two Kyle Edmund maintained his fine form in Vienna with a straight-sets quarter-final win over Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff.
Edmund, 22, dropped just two points on his first serve as he won 6-2 7-5 to reach his third ATP semi-final of the year.
The Briton served out the match at the second time of asking after 75 minutes.
He will meet Lucas Pouille, who beat fellow Frenchman Richard Gasquet 7-6 (7-5) 6-1, for a place in the final.
The other semi-final will be between Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who beat Alexander Zverev 7-6 (8-6) 6-2, and Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber, winner of his match against Argentina's Diego Schwartzman 7-5 7-6 (8-6).
