Helen left home for the trek on 12th December
She’s run a 78-mile marathon and she’s kayaked solo down the Amazon, now Helen Skelton talks to us about what it was like to trek 500 miles across Antartica.
The Blue Peter presenter pushed herself to the limit and endured weeks of training, temperatures of -48C, and extreme dehydration in order to reach the South Pole.
