Judy Evans - Herceptin
One of the few breast cancer patients in Staffordshire not to have been given the potentially life-saving drug Herceptin is soon to find out whether she will receive the treatment

Keith Meeson
Keith Meeson is a Local Angel from Stanley, who has raised money for the Treetops Hospice in Trentham.
By walking 60 miles in one day and visiting all 20 former colliery sites across Stoke-on-Trent, Keith raised an amazing 拢10,000.

Sneyd Pit Memorial
A tribute to the 57 men and boys who died in the Sneyd Colliery disaster 63 years ago is being created.

Midlander of the Year?
大象传媒 Staffordshire TV is celebrating the four people from the county who have been nominated for the Midlander of the Year competition. The Staffordshire Regiment,听 Elaine Barber and Dot Griffiths of the Herceptin Campaign and Olivia Clarke are the four finalists who come from the Staffordshire area.
People can vote for their favourites by watching Midlands Today this week.

Peter Heath - Music man
There's only one music man of Burslem. No, not Robbie Williams. Our man is Peter Heath, who runs a music shop in the town's indoor market that specialises in vinyl.
He was fascinated by records as a boy and has kept up his interest through the years in spite of cassettes, CDs, and most recently, ipods.

A patient at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in Stoke-on-Trent gives an open and intimate interview about his experiences there.

A hospital ward has been named in memory of a Staffordshire nurse who was once a patient there.
Sally Painting, from Longton, became a specialist nurse at Birmingham University Hospital after she had a liver transplant.

Nancy Douglas - Angel...
Nancy Douglas is a Local "Community Angel" from Mow Cop in North Staffordshire, who has raised money for her local church and primary school, by collecting donations for her Christmas lights. Olivia Clarke and Xmas
Little Olivia Clarke from Cannock in Staffordshire is busy getting excited about Christmas, just like any other six year old - but Olivia is anything but ordinary.

Last January she contracted meningitis and her hands and feet had to be amputated. Her ordeal didn't end there as she caught the superbug MRSA. But she is making a remarkable recovery.
She has yet to receive prosthetic hands but she is determined that the disability will not hold her back. She can write by holding a pen between her wrist and though her left arm is longer than her right, sometimes she has a strap attached to it so that she can hold a pen. She is naturally right handed but she has managed to teach herself to write
with her left - and she now walks to school. Despite her situation, still she managed to achieve 84 per cent in her maths exam.
