The FrankenburgsMick Tucker As part of our Community Memories series we met a family brought to Judaism by their son but who choose to worship miles away from their home synagogue. When Adam Frankenburg was 12 he turned to his parents and said he felt his spiritual needs weren't being met. A slightly unusual claim you might think but it got the whole family thinking and galvanised them all to turn to God.听 听Adam's father Ronnie was born Jewish so the whole family began going to the synagogue.听 But, even though they lived in Stoke-on-Trent, as they still do now, the family began going to a synagogue in Manchester.听 Our reporter Mick Tucker, along with Adam and his mother Pauline, looks at why a family living within this local community, chose not to worship within it....
