BTCV Volunteers

Lean and Green

By Nikki Bishop
Got some free time and fancy putting it to good use? With all that gorgeous greenery to maintain, there are plenty of opportunities for getting involved…

Stoke has the most green space per person of any British city and by volunteering just a few hours of your time you can help to keep the region green.

There are different ways to get involved. You can get your hands dirty, raise funds or just pitch in ideas for how to improve the brownfield site at the end of the street.

Organisations such as Millennium Volunteers and BTCV have local contacts who can tell you what is going on in your part of the city.
