Using the thumb method, cast on 28 sts.
Row 1:Ìý Knit.
Row 2:Ìý K2, (yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog, yfwd, k1) 4 times, k2.
Row 3:Ìý K2, p24, k2.
Row 4:Ìý (K3, yfwd, sl1, k2tog, psso, yfwd) 4 times, k4.
Row 5:Ìý K2, p24, k2.
Row 6:Ìý K4, (yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k4) 4 times.
Row 7:Ìý K2, p24, k2.
Row 8:Ìý Knit.
Row 9:Ìý K2, p24, k2.
Repeat rows 8 and 9, 3 times.

Shape Crown
Row 16:Ìý K2 tog 14 times. (14 sts)
Row 17:Ìý P2tog 7 times. (7 sts)

Break yarn and thread through the remaining stitches, draw up tight and secure. Join back seam for about 1 cm (Â½â€).

Cut ribbon in half and sew to each side of bonnet.
