Scrooge comes to life!

Following the success of the Nativity series last year, 大象传媒 Radio Stoke brings you "A Christmas Carol". The Dickens classic has been abridged and produced by Katie Martin, and performed by five groups from local primary schools.

Our story is well-known of course, but is too traditional to forget.
大象传媒 producer Katie Martin visited five schools each of which performed one part of the story; and the series was originally broadcast in Christmas week on Radio Stoke.

Part One: "The Ghost of Marley"

He was a cold-hearted, tight-fisted, selfish greedy man, whose response to Christmas greetings was an impolite "Bah Humbug!"听
But when strange things start to happen on Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge is shown the error of his ways ....

He's frightened witless and ready to make amends, but the terrifying nightmare continues when Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by another ghost, who shows him how his selfish greed spells doom for those around him.听

Part Four: "The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come"

Terrified and alone, Ebenezer Scrooge is stranded in a bleak and barren place.听 The warnings from Marley's Ghost were true, and as the third spirit shows him an empty stool by the Cratchits' fireplace.
Scrooge begs for forgiveness and promises to change his ways, but is it all too late?
