But one Staffordshire man decided to go out and film the cats himself鈥 For most of us, the idea of seeing lions and cheetahs and other big cats close-up in their own environment is just a dream. The thrill of the 鈥楤ig Cat Live鈥 series is that it places us right in the action.听 The reports, from Simon King, Jonathon Scott, Kate Silverton and Jackson Looseyia, the local Mas guide, make for compulsive viewing. Yet, one Staffordshire man has lived the dream, and was able to travel there, and film the big cats close-up himself. Roger from Cheadle returned from safari last summer having been able to spend two weeks on the plains.听 Getting close enough to the big cats to film them is of course dangerous.听 As he said: 鈥淚t makes taking a pee a big decision鈥μ You need armed guards to stand watch around you!鈥 Roger has given us two short films that he brought back, each only two minutes long.听 Take a look and be amazed鈥
