As the old saying goes, the devil is in the detail. Lisa and Brendan appear to have adopted this as their personal mantra, hoping that their quest to perfect their Samba routine will be fulfilled by focusing on the tiniest details.
The couple have broken down their routine, going over the specific moves and steps - an approach Lisa is hoping will allow her to showcase her progress. "When we did the Salsa it was a fast furious dance and I was out of my depth," she said. "Hopefully we'll be able to get on top of the dance."
Brendan is equally aware of the dangers presented by the Samba. "It's so difficult with so many steps in short timing," he said. "We want to be able to control it."
All the furious step-counting has had another positive knock-on effect for Lisa - she's getting better at maths! "After this I'm going to do a degree because I should be good at it!" she said. The only number she'll have on her mind on Saturday though is that magic 10.
