Find out what's happening in Strictly Come Dancing 2009

The girls are slightly more relaxed than the boys as they've got just over ten days before their first live programme, but that doesn't make the training any easier. We caught up with a few of them.
Gillian is already nervous about performing live and has been working through the problems in her routines using the notes she's been taking. "I've been getting confused and couldn't get the measure of the room, I wrote down arrows and it really helped. "My family are getting fed up with the music but they are really cheering me on."
Christine and Matt are happy with their Foxtrot and Matt has declared it "Ready to be seen by the public" giving them time to work on their Cha Cha Cha. Christine doesn't find this easy, "It's all about the swivel" but puts a brave face on it.
Cherie has been suffering from inner ear problems, which mean she isn't practicing her spins as much as she'd like to, but generally her and James are making good progress. James is keeping his renowned temper in check at the moment and the pair have been flirting for the cameras, joking that they were "getting all kinky."
Vincent is displaying his traditional Latin charm with Rachel and has joked that their salsa should make her bra fly off! Wardrobe malfunctions were nowhere to be seen though and the two of them are forming a good partnership.
Vincent even has time to give Rachel's fiancé Alex some help with his dancing ready for their first dance. "When I heard she was paired with the Italian stallion I wasn't a hundred per cent happy but I trust her and he seems like a lovely guy."
