There are more puppet-based shenanigans in Anton's camp too, as partner Gillian becomes the second ex-East Enders actress in one day to be labelled a Muppet. He doesn't state which one, though. As usual, the couple are in high spirits, despite Gillian's nerves and her knee injury. The usual banter was exchanged, with Anton cheekily describing his dance partner as more "Old Kent Road than 42nd Street". In return, Gillian makes some rather lewd comments about the tightness of Anton's trousers. They do manage to fit in some dancing around the jokes though, and enjoy a successful Foxtrot training session.
Heather's not too happy with her Foxtrot, though. She struggles when performing the dance with partner Brian and it seems to knock her confidence. The singer talks about needing to get her nerves under control for Saturday, but she's determined to bring out her performer side and hopes to have fun when she hits the dance floor. The couple fare better when going through the salsa - even with Brian emphasising (several times) that Heather is not allowed to stop mid-way through the routine - even if the Queen were to walk in the room.
Another couple foxed by the Foxtrot are Cherie and James. Mr Jordan's tootsies are fairly battered after a few stepping-on-toes incidents, and at one point, he remarks, "Good job I've got two feet! Not only did you stand on it, you swivelled on it!" Cherie notes though that he's very patient and forgiving about the foot trampling. She glides through a few run-throughs and the pair switch to mastering the basic Latin moves. James comments on her great legwork and posture, and adds that Cherie can more than keep up with the younger women on the show. She just needs to avoid his feet and enjoy herself on Saturday!
Christine and Matt are also looking forward to Saturday's show. The One Show presenter is very excited and tells her partner, "I just want to go out and have a go - we have talked about it for too long now!" The pair still seem to be having a great time together, laughing and joking constantly. They appear confident and ready, practising their lifts and other complicated dance techniques. They even indulge in a little bit of fortune-telling with the aid of some chocolates, as Christine throws a choc and says, "If you catch this in your mouth, we're going to win!" Matt obliges with a catch and the jubilant pair cheer happily...
