Green Living Family Fun Days

Taking place at Chantry Park, Ipswich between the 24th - 25th June 2006, the Green Living Family Fun Days are a brilliant opportunity to learn about the different aspects of the environment.

Not only will you have the opportunity to understand more about important issues like organic foods, recycling, composting, renewable energy, wildlife, eco-building and Fairtrade but you can also visit the solar powered fairground or the Croissant Neuf Circus for top quality entertainment.

Walk through the Green Roadshow entrance arch and enjoy all of the attractions in the outdoor arena, including the Solar powered Circus Top. Elsewhere, a wonderful set of听Victorian children's chair-o-planes have been carefully restored and converted to run on the sun's energy, which is collected on-site using a large array of solar panels.

Elsewhere, visit the Sustainable Living exhibition tent, which is full of information on Local Agenda 21. It covers topics like sustainability, organic gardening, recycling, green transport and lots of other environmentally friendly ideas for you to try out at home.

"Turning Sunshine into Laughter"

It's always packed outside the Croissant Neuf Circus tent just before the show. All of the entertainments that are presented in the beautiful, multi coloured Big Top are especially written with a green theme. As always, all the power used in the show is generated by our wind turbines and solar panels.

Run away and join the circus!

At the show you will have the opportunity to learn how to spin a plate on a stick, juggle balls, clubs and rings, walk on stilts or do tricks on the diabolo.

Also, Juggling supremo Luke Gravett has devised a brilliant family show that uses his incredible skills with clubs and balls as well as his natural humour to explain the complex issues surrounding nuclear power and the problems of radioactive waste.

More entertainment..听

Des Kay is the founder member of the famous Save the World Club. His wacky Answer to Everything Machine - made entirely out of scrap materials - is featured in his wonderful 30 minute show that deals with recycling, waste minimisation and pollution in a funny and entertaining way.

Elsewhere, Broccoli and Sprout present their famous Environmental Clown Show featuring the very naughty Hugh (human being) and Mother Nature (his mum) battling it out for control of the ecosystem.
