The 大象传媒 is not responsible for the content of external websites Help playing audio/video Hannah spent four years studying modern languages at Durham University and graduated with first class honours. During her time as a student, she performed frequently at Durham's 'Jam Night' and played guitar, piano and sang backing vocals with premiere student cheesy covers band Cheesecake.
As part of her degree she spent a year in Tuscany and Monaco and this was where she really began to enjoy songwriting - she missed her piano and her guitar became her best friend! A kind donation from a consultant she met while working in Tuscany on her gap year allowed her to record her first EP No Rhyme or Reason. Returning to Ipswich, Hannah started getting involved with the Suffolk Songwriters sessions where she met local contacts who got her back into the recording studio. In 2007 she released her debut album Til Angels Fall at the Ip-Art Festival. It was recorded with Pat Grueber at Gemini Studios and features guitarist Mark Flanagan from Jools Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. Her favourite artists (and influences) include Counting Crows, REM, John Mayer and Joni Mitchell. She is now planning to try to make her living in the music industry. last updated: 23/04/2008 at 13:11 Have Your Say

I first heard Hannah's music on her myspace page and it's just great!
Not to put it too lightly, but I've been falling asleep and waking up to this music in my head since first hearing it 2 days ago. Intense, personal, beautifully sung and played - could wring tears from a stone. Thank you, Hannah.
It's a long long time since I've played an album three times in a row, but 'Till Angels Fall' is that album. Great songs, no...not 'great songs', inspiring songs, played with feeling and recorded superbly. Congratulations to all involved, this is a masterwork.
I am a supporter of this lady and well done to 'FOZ' for helping to bring her to our attention a while back. She has a sincerity in the tone of her voice which is very calming! The Best of luck HANNAH for the future! CALLEN [The Voice] You are in: Suffolk > Entertainment > Music > Introducing > Hannah Scott
