Help playing audio/video Back in February 2008, Ipswich Town Football Club's Community Trust teamed up with the Prince's Trust to provide their first personal development programme, for young people aged between 16 and 25. It's a chance for young people to uncover their hidden talents, develop team working and communication skills and gain qualifications. Susan Pearson and Becki Young were two of 14 youngsters who attended the course and the duo filmed video diaries throughout. David Sheepshanks The project Susan and Becki undertook, TEAM, is based at Portman Road and runs over 12 weeks. During that time, the group work on their personal development by doing a range of activities including a residential activity, participating in a team challenge, completing a work placement in an area they are interested in, and gaining nationally-recognised qualifications. They also uncover their hidden talents, develop team working and communication skills and gain an awareness of their local community and how their can contribute to it.
