They only had six weeks to get their acts together. As well as doing as much practise alone with their partners, our contestants have also been checking each other out for a couple of hours a week.

We filmed them in action at the Bond Street dance school on Sunday 2 November. There were less than two weeks to go before the big Children In Need dance-off before a paying audience of 800 people.

The contestants who were unable to make it to this rehearsal were Stephen Foster & Christine Mutton, Sally Goodwin & Mike Drury and Luke Deal & Jenny Emmerson. Will this tell on the big night?
