Hayze
on the Gofer Stage |
|

Thousands
of people braved the weather to listen to the cream of local musical
talent and 大象传媒 Suffolk's Oli Moorman
was among the damp but entertained.

At midday Christchurch Park was wet and music fans were thin on
the ground. Business seemed slow on the fairground, and the organisers
must have been in fear of a wash out but the bands played on!
Acting
like they were playing to thousands not just a handful of families
clutching umbrellas, and a young girl hanging on to a sodden Scooby-Doo
bigger than she was, Hog Nosed Skunks kicked things off on the One
Stage with style and it was a shame they couldn't have got the audience
they deserved.

Suffolk
Youth Jazz Orchestra |
On the
Co-op Education Stage, Suffolk Youth Jazz Orchestra pulled in a
respectable crowd and got feet tapping with their mix of jazz classics,
film themes and their own compositions.
With a nine-year-old sharing the drumming duties you couldn't fail
to be impressed by their abilities.
By 1pm the rain had stopped (temporarily) and the park was beginning
to fill up with people determined to make the day a success.
Hayze
were first up on the Gofer Stage and entertained the increasing
crowd with a passionate performance.
You can hear some of Hayze's tracks on our Unsigned section, click

Dan
from One:Day:Life |
Second
up on the Gofer stage, and also on our Unsigned section, were
One:Day:Life.
Despite a few obvious technical gremlins at the beginning of the
set, their pop-punk stylings got people dancing at the front,
and a decent reaction from the majority of the audience.
