I greatly look forward to seeing this band achieve greater things. Despite the technical difficulties, the talent shone through the gritted teeth. Not many girl fronted groups can pull of the kind of power and presence demonstrated, and the band as a whole have got a great amount of attitude.
Hopefully see you again.

Spoke to Col about you. Much nicer than previous demos, would appreciate you throwing this one at me on stage as opposed to the other. Still listen to acoustic though before I sleep. Violin bit out of tune.

I have seen the band perform on various occasions and believe that, in comparison to alot of music that is going around at the moment, are a breath of fresh air. Well done kids! keep it up.

Hey guys, i really thought all the songs were pretty damn good, especially crazy things, keep up the good work dudes!
Steph, Polariss
hey thanks for all the comments so far, it's great to hear an unbiased opinion from anyone, good or bad. It all helps!
Emma, we do actually have a new guitarist now, his name is pete! also, Alex (our violinist) also plays sax and does do the backing vocals on songs, generally filling out the sound a bit.
Polariss have reformed, with a slightly different lineup although loraine and i have been in it from the start. When the cd was recorded, we had only been a band for a month. It was only a rough recording of some new tracks, and we're planning on recording the new cd within the month.
the problem with the old demo, was that it was only two people recording it, me and our old drummer harriet. I played bass on a keyboard! The songs still feature in our current setlist, but we needed new ones for variety. Our next gig is sat 17th at the twist in colchester, anyone can feel free to pop along (tickets are cheaper if you email me and i'll give you the tickets there for 3 pounds - email info@polariss.co.uk!)
thanks again for taking the time to comment

I enjoyed all 3 songs and as a musician myself i know how hard it can be to create a 'full' sound. I think at the moment its not quite full enough, maybe the incorporation of another instrument(another guitar, more percussion or maybe some stronger, deeper toned backing vocals?)would really help! I hope you don't mind the constructive criticism guys, because although saying all that, i would still listen to it happily at home!
Ciar谩n, Birmingham
The recordings on this page don't do the band justice!
The songs that used to be at:
www.polaris-the-originals.tk/
were better. Is the violin a new thing? I liked the old, chaotic Polaris songs... where Steph's vocals and the clever lyrics were not fighting to be heard. Polariss are good - please don't get too sensible.
Anyway... it's easy to have an opinion. Bye bye.
Richard, Ipswich
'Apologies' was just that, an apology. The only real positive of 'Feel' was the violin riff in the middle. Of the three tracks 'Crazy Things' was the best. Unfortunately the vocals sound like a poor Debbie Harri, and she's been done and dusted. There needs to be much more thought put into the way their differing instruments interact e.g. The Corrs. Some originality on the vocals is needed. This is why there is only one Joss Stone, one Diana Ross, one Cher, one Shirley Bassey, one Dusty Springfield, one Tina Turna, one Aretha Franklin, one Celon Dion etc. That said on a positive note they are doing better than most and certainly better than I, who couldn't write a note or lyric to save my life. I do know however know if something sounds right. Keep trying.
Rich, Cambs
well done guys! pleasure to have finally got to meet you. Loved the park.
