Her Majesty The Queen has written a letter to Frank Cottrell-Boyce, in support of the 500 Words 2024/25 competition.
500 Words judge, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, shared his special letter from The Queen on The One Show to celebrate the launch of 500 Words 2024/25.
In the letter, The Queen said: "Not only is it the most successful children's story writing competition ever, but all the entries, past, present and future, are sent to the Oxford University Press to form part of the biggest children's collection of children's writing in the world. Which means more than a million tales of thoughtful reflection and swashbuckling adventure for future generations to study and enjoy."
