大象传媒 Bring the Noise is working in partnership with leading arts, music education and music industry organisations including Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), Music Mark, Youth Music and British Phonographic Industry (BPI), to ensure the campaign creates a positive impact and is relevant for children and teachers across the UK.
We鈥檒l collaborate with a range of partners to inspire the next generation of music lovers and music-makers, and support every teacher to enable them to deliver music education in the classroom.
The 大象传媒 is hoping that together with our partners, we can turn the spotlight on music education, championing its benefits in the classroom and at home.
Bring the Noise - Partners
"We鈥檝e seen an alarming drop-off in access to music in state schools, which could threaten the long-term success of British music.
"Creating practical access to music in schools can bring wider benefits to young people - stimulating performance, encouraging confidence and cohesion, and providing a creative outlet for their talent.
"Denying pupils access to music is a huge false economy, and we are delighted to support 大象传媒 Education鈥檚 timely 鈥楤ring the Noise鈥 initiative."
Ian Moss, BPI Director of Public Affairs
"Bring the Noise is a vital education initiative led by 大象传媒 Education and is a fantastic opportunity for many young children, schools, teachers and musicians to engage with a wide range of music in schools.
"We are delighted to be supporting the campaign as a stakeholder and working with the 大象传媒 to ensure it is as comprehensive, effective and beneficial as possible."
Deborah Annetts, Chief Executive, ISM
"Music Mark is delighted to be a partner in the 大象传媒鈥檚 new campaign Bring the Noise.
"As the UK Association for Music Education, and a Music Subject Association, we aim to support and connect those working in Music Education and influence school leaders and parents of the power of musical learning.
"A quality music education should be available to all primary school children, and these exciting new resources will further help teachers, many of whom are not music specialists to teach the subject.
"They will also explain why music is such a vital element in a child鈥檚 early formal education."
Bridget Whyte, Chief Executive, Music Mark
"Children鈥檚 lives in music-making must start as soon as possible. The evidence is overwhelming in terms of the positive difference this makes for their own personal, social and musical development and for their families too.
"That鈥檚 why early years has always been one of our priority areas at Youth Music and will continue to be so in the future.
"We are delighted to be working in partnership with the 大象传媒 for the 鈥楤ring The Noise鈥 campaign, which will help to increase understanding of the benefits of music-making in early childhood and provide innovative resources for early years teachers and music leaders to develop their practice.
"If there鈥檚 ever been a more important time for this, it鈥檚 definitely now. We鈥檙e excited to be a part of it."
Matt Griffiths, CEO, Youth Music
