Learn how to create games, animations and robots using simple code
This 大象传媒 micro:bit Live Lesson aims to encourage Key Stage 3/3rd Level students to get creative, programming and making their own digital creations.
It's hosted by Ana Matronic, best known as the front woman of the Scissor Sisters, Dan Walker and gadget guru Ella Williamson, and features guests Amy Mather, the European Digital Girl of the Year in 2013, Simon Smith from Thumbfood, an independent game production company, and Professor Sethu Vijayakumar, Director of the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics.
The programme explores how to animate and programme digital pets, create secret messages to share with friends, make digital and physical games and design robots.
This programme was first streamed live to schools in February 2016. Please note that we are no longer reviewing emails and messages from schools for inclusion in the lesson.
