Looking to open up the world of classical music to secondary school students?

This Ten Pieces Secondary Live Lesson aims to inspire young people to develop creative responses to classical music through art, composition and poetry and is themed around Ten Pieces.

Presented by C大象传媒's Naomi Wilkinson and Blur's Alex James, the Live Lesson features the and special guests composer Gabriel Prokofiev, four times world DJ champion Mr Switch, street artist Stik and poet Lemn Sissay MBE, Chancellor of Manchester University.

It showcases three of the Ten Pieces:

Students are given expert advice on how to respond artistically to music, and develop an understanding of how music can impact on our emotions.

This Live Lesson was first streamed live to schools in November 2015. Please note that we are no longer reviewing emails and messages from schools for inclusion in the lesson.
