The tale of Peter Rabbit

Peter Rabbit is warned by his mother not to go into Mr McGregor's garden - but Peter doesn't listen.

Peter is enjoying all the tasty things to eat in the garden when he is spotted by Mr McGregor. Peter runs away, losing both his shoes and his jacket in the process.

He hides in a watering-can and then in the tool-shed, with Mr McGregor still in pursuit.

Peter is stuck in the garden unable to find the garden gate that will lead him to safety. Suddenly he spots the gate - behind Mr McGregor. Peter makes a dash for it, escapes from Mr McGregor and doesn't stop running until he finally gets home.

Reader: Miranda Richardson
Writer: Beatrix Potter, adapted by Tracey Hammett
