Synopsis

Joey finds himself between the German and British lines and two soldiers - one from each side - risk their lives trying to get him to come over to their trenches. The soldiers speak to each other in the middle of no-man鈥檚-land and explore the futility of thefighting.

Joey is won by a toss of a coin by the British soldier who takes him back to a field hospital with stables. Coincidently it is Albert who is given Joey to clean and take care of and the two friends - man and horse - are finally reunited.
