The children make dances inspired by the movement of fireworks.

In the first dance session we focus on movement and harvest, including the movements of plants, contrasting old-fashioned and then modern harvesting methods and also making and sharing foods. The session ends with a harvest circle dance.
In the second session we explore Autumn weather: rain and jumping in puddles; then, when the wind picks up, the children blow about like leaves and other objects; finally flying a kite before putting all the sequences together.
Get ready to sizzle, crack, blast and whoosh in the third session! We鈥檒l warm up and go to the firework display where our moves will be the star attraction. The focus is arm, leg and body moves on different pathways to create a stunning fireworks display at the end!
The focus of the final session is animal actions in Autumn: we have a squirrel scamper, a geese migration dance, frogs jumping and swimming and an animal line dance combining all the movements to finish with!
