Students prepare for school report School Report: Greydio!Year 8 Pupils at Lord Grey school in Bletchley are doing their bit for School Report. Sixteen students were set the task of creating a radio news package as part of 大象传媒 School Report. They decided to make the feature about their school canteen identifying some of the problems and working out the solutions to them. Pupils interview the deputy head They also discovered how the canteen was able to serve good, fresh food every day at relatively little cost. PushingThe year 8 students were split into four groups, each with different responsibilities. A particular bone of contention was teachers pushing in front of students in the queue. So the first group wrote a role play to illustrate the problem. The second group interviewed the school canteen manager about the quality and cost of the food. While groups three and four spoke to one of the deputy head teachers about solutions to some of the problems they identified. During the process the students learnt different production techniques and came to understand the importance of working to a deadline. They finished the day by listening to the finished package broadcast live on air and judging by their talent and enthusiasm, we may well find the next Jeremy Paxman amongst them!
