Make up is a very important part of a stage performer's pre-show preparations. In October 2008, Beauty and the Beast came to the Swan Theatre in High Wycombe as part of its UK tour. Ian Brown was invited backstage to watch Karen Senior apply the make up to Bedfordshire based musical theatre performer Matt Cammelle for his role as the Beast. He began by asking Karen how long it takes to apply the make up for the Beast:  Matt Camelle - before! This is Matt before Karen starts!  Matt Camelle - after!
