1, 2, 3鈥 go!
I'm Deborah, Ollie's mum. Oliver is nearly three and he has trisomy 21, known as Down Syndrome.
Some more, Ollie? Some more?
Ollie's speech is delayed. Learning with Ollie is very simple learning. That's why it's very important to use the visuals of taking photos of what he's aware of and what he knows around him.
And Ollie's S-鈥hoe! Shoes, good boy! Where's your shoe? Here! Yes, good boy.
You don't have to go and buy anything so you can just make your own visuals. I just went around and took a picture of the park and around the home and his food. Printed them off, cut them down and then laminated them.
Oh, shall we get your ball? Ball!
Ollie's a great little character. Ollie's brought a different experience to me in life and it's just so rewarding to us each day, Ollie achieves something different.
