"There now don't make a fuss - it is a trick for all of us." Listen to Tahla's tales as he scrolls through his life's story and you might discover the trick that's in us all.

Transcript

"It was morning whilst I woke... to realise we were living in air, so full of smoke. Air a drifting for all to view. Across this city with its people - now so few.

With more pity in their desire driven ever onward chasing gaudings.

Here is a man who like us all who fought the good fight... only to stumble and then trundle with a bundle on his back, immersed in port.

He's now dispersed with doubt - fine sanctions in drinking his stout.

I have memories of Aunty Nelly, who was on a silo near Pwllheli. It was she who spoke wise words to me, when I was no mere a baby 'bach' on her knee... Come West Young man - it's the best on Cymru to you.

I went straight away to my books and education, searching papers for a situation to suit my vocation. To set me free in Wales... only to get stuck with tales from page three.

With the passing of time I changed my line and life and faith. So to avoid the gales of life, I moved to Wales with the wife.

So with my Muslim friends, who came from near and far, to catch some time in our backyard.

There now, don't make a fuss. It is a trick for all of us... to land yourself with food and love. After all, it comes from the one above.

I got her vacant - situation - hanging skyhooks from the clouds, when I bumped into an albatross this morning, whilst I was yawning. I shouldn't really talk to myself while perched here on a cloud.

Don't give up your faith."

An interview with the author

Please tell us about yourself.
I have retired early for the sake of my sanity and others who live with me and fill my time with doing good deeds for someone or other.

What's your story about?
It's about the transformation from the city to Wales and my faith conversion. I chose to tell this particular story as it was in my memory and I had the photos and I was in the right place on the right time!

What did you find most rewarding about the workshop?
You found that you had made something that qualified your existence - that will be carved in stone like the epitaph on our graves.
