"I lead a double life, one foot in heaven and the other on earth." Sarah explains how lucky she feels.

Transcript

"I lead a double life, one foot in heaven and the other on earth. My heaven is when I'm at home, 6 months a year on my smallholding. I come down to earth when I go away to work in London.

When I'm at home, in the morning I gaze out on my wild garden, and watch the activities of the birds. The other day there was a woodpecker at the bird table feeding its two fledglings. I love walking, the views from my land stretch up to Llanllwni Mountain and down to the Teifi valley. Bordering my land there is a footpath through a wonderful 30 acre conservation area. I call it "my wood" because in six years I've never met another walker. Here I do my morning contemplations.

It has been an ongoing project to make my house greener and lower my carbon footprint. I also have a plot on which I intend to build a green building - a straw-bale house perhaps.

London is where I was brought up, where I have family and many friends, and where I work. But it has always felt too busy and stressful. When I'm at home in West Wales there is space for creativity and meditation. I have time to see friends, time to practise different therapies, such as the Alexander Technique, and time to think. But above all there is time to live."
