Short films about war come in many guises and the overall theme of this moving short film celebrates change in the landscape and in mankind.
Using the visual metaphor of the local River Wye and that of the River Somme in France, young children from Llandogo Primary School in Monmouth, remember their relatives who fought in WW1. With original archive from the Imperial War Museum, their poem 'My River' reflects their appreciation of what they have today and tells us to 'be thankful that nothing stays the same'.
