Jake misses his Dad Leighton, since he moved to Cambridge with his new wife, but Robbie is not just a step dad but a mate too. He's had his fair share of emotional trauma - and even tried to commit suicide but with Robbie and mum Ceri married, life seems more normal and there's nothing Jake wants more than to be a normal teenager.
