Bishops from the Church in Wales say they want the ten-yearly Lambeth Conference starting this week to focus on environmental issues, rather than sexuality. It seems a somewhat forlorn hope. And now that the , which have angered many traditionalists, there will be more talk of division.
From London Roy is joined by leading Anglo Catholic spokesman Prebendary David Holding and by one of the organisers of that Jerusalem conference, Canon Dr Chris Sugden, executive director of Anglican Mainstream. And also with him are the Rev Jenny Wigley, one of the first women to be ordained priest in Wales; and the Archbishop of Wales, the Most Rev. Dr Barry Morgan.
