All Things Considered

Financial Crisis

Banks collapse, shares plunge, and millions worry - about mortgages and pensions, about prices rising and jobs disappearing.

One way or another, the crisis in global financial markets affects just about everybody.

In "All Things Considered" this week (Sunday 5 October, 8.30am, repeated Wednesday 08 Oct, 6.30pm) Roy Jenkins and guests look at what's happened, explore the moral and ethical implications, and ask whether religious faith should be making any difference to the way we respond.

Taking part are Paul Vallely, Associate Editor of The Independent and columnist for The Church Times; Ian Angell, Professor of Information Systems at the London School of Economics; Kevin Moss, who runs a South Wales company which supports independent financial advisers, and Steve Smith, Professor of Political Philosophy and Social Policy at the University of Wales in Newport.
