In the wake of the jailing of John Cooper for life for four brutal murders in Pembrokeshire in the 1980s, Eye on Wales charts the course of the complex police investigation that brought him to justice. Presented by Sarah Moore.

The murder of brother and sister Richard and Helen Thomas. The murder of husband and wife Peter and Gwenda Dixon. The rape and sexual assault of two young women in Milford Haven.
John Cooper's crimes were many and baffling and it took twenty years to piece together how this farm labourer from Letterston near Fishguard became a habitual burglar, an armed robber and a merciless killer.
Radio Wales' Pembrokeshire reporter Sarah Moore was in court when the jury returned the guilty verdicts that put Cooper behind bars for life and has spoken to many of those closely involved with the case.
In this week's Eye on Wales she shares the insights she has gained into the mind of Cooper, both the calm white-haired man in the dock and the angry, controlling personality beneath.
She hears how a cold case investigation and the skills of forensic science came together to link a string of apparently random offences to Cooper.
And she asks is this the end of the road - or are there more crimes out there with a link to John Cooper?
