Tori James and Maria Leijerstam

Here's a photograph of Tori James and Maria Leijerstam, who are completing a coast to coast adventure across New Zealand. They joined Roy on the programme on January 14 2010. It was 3.30 PM - Roy time, so half past four in the morning for Tori and Maria.

Rosie Moriarty-Simmonds

Alan Thompson sat in for Roy in November 2009 and welcomed Rosie Moriarty-Simmonds to the studio. Rosie is a well known writer, broadcaster, disability campaigner and is one of 450 people in the UK living with the effects of the drug Thalidomide, which their mothers' took during pregnancy to ease their morning sickness.

Love Zimbabwe

Wrexham Football Club collected football kit for Martha and David Holman from Abergavenny who run the Fair Trade organisation 'Love Zimbabwe' and whose progress was followed by Roy throughout 2009 . David and Martha came into the studio to pick up the boxes of shirts, shorts and trainers after returning from the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

Sing Hallelujah!

People from the Neath area came to St David's Church on Sunday 6 December to learn Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. Roy broadcast the finished work the following day.

Kidwelly goes to town!

It's the Lord Mayor's Show in London this weekend and the ancient town of Kidwelly are taking part in the procession. The Lord Mayor of London has been making that yearly journey for 784 years, surviving plague and fire and countless wars and insurrections. Linda Kirkham- Jones and Malcolm MacDonald joined Roy on the programme to talk about the preparations and and making sure that Kidwelly really do 'go to town'.....

To celebrate "Heather and Hillfort week" Community Reporter Sharon Braunton joined up with the 1st day of the Denbighshire's guided tour up to Pen y Cloddia hillfort in the company of Denbighshire County Archaelogist, Fiona Gale.

Meteorite Monday

MeteoriteSixty years ago a meteorite fell on Beddgelert, smashing a hole in a hotel roof. Roy ran a series of three "Meteorite Mondays", talking to people who remember what happened to the Snowdonia village and hearing from experts about the significance of the event
