A review of Welsh film maker - Tim Davies' debut international surf movie, Seven Stops.

The film features the exploits of five Welsh surfers who embark on the trip of a lifetime to explore some of the world's best surfing locations.

For a surfer new to foreign travel, the film delivers a unique 'hands on view' of what it's like to hop on a place and score superb surf in some of the most sought after destinations in the world.

If you had to compile a list of 'places to surf before you die', you'd be fairly satisfied if you'd ended up surfing half of the spots featured in this film.

It's good to see a film shot from an average surfers perspective and you can see the excitement in everyone's faces as they arrive at each spot. If you've ever been on a surf trip with close friends then this will give you plenty to reminisce about.

There's an abundance of pro surfers featured, so the standard of surfing is always world class and the travel footage from the ground, gives the film a nice grainy edge.

During the film they visit California, Central America, Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia. The lads hook up with surfing superstars like Kelly Slater, Joel Parkinson, Jordy Smith, Andy Irons, Alan Stokes, Tiago Pires and many more.

The film will be available around mid September. Log on to to find out more.
