It was the worst storm in the UK for almost 300 years. 18 people lost their lives and many others were injured, with the most damage caused in southern England.

The storm uprooted millions of trees, ripped roofs off buildings, and destroyed cars. Electricity lines went down leaving thousands of homes without power.

As the anniversary of the storm approaches, we want to hear your stories. Do you remember the storm and were you affected by it? We'd also like you to send us any photos. We will compile your stories and photos into a Weather Watchers article.
