'Underground' - the live six-part radio series showcasing local bands and artists reached the final show in the current run on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Swindon and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Wiltshire on Sunday 10th April. Presented by station champion of local live music Daniel Garrett, the show was designed to bring the best of the county's unsigned bands and up-and-coming musicians to a wider audience. Over the past six weeks, Daniel has played choice tracks from some of the best acts in the area and promoted the best gigs taking place in and around the county. Daniel has also welcomed up-and-coming local bands such as Blackbud, The Hour and Stone From Delphi into the studio for exclusive live acoustic sessions and talked to Wiltshire music scene movers and shakers. "It has been great to be given the opportunity to turn people onto the dozens of amazing local bands the county has to offer these past six weeks," said Daniel.

"The feedback I've received about the show from music lovers and local bands alike has been amazing, this is the first time a radio show like this has been broadcast in this area and it really shows there is an audience for it. "I joked on my first show about the hope of there being a second series and this is something we are definitely talking about. It will happen later on in the year but exactly when, and what format it might evolve into is up in the air at the moment."
